Betting systems - description of various systems

There are many known sports betting systems. Most of them were invented a few centuries ago and was using with traditional gambling games like Blackjack, Roulette or Poker. They consists in setting the stake in a way that gives an illusory increase of the chances of the win. What is common for them all is that there is no such a betting system which guarantees a win and give you a real advantage over a bookmaker (except sure bets). Every betting system may give some profit in a limited period of time but in the long run it will be the bookmaker who will win.

In general we can divide betting systems  on two groups: systems with a negative progression and systems with a positive progression. Which are better? It is hard to say. The answer is probably: none of this two groups.
